Biography Carlos Eduardo Baez Zerpa, I was borne in Maracay (Venezuela) at Night time, November 16-72 .Since I was a little boy, I discovered the magic of crayons, paint brushes and words. I used to listen to my parents music. My mother really loves the Beatles and my father likes Abba (chiquitica) but at the same time, he loves Opera and Clasical Music: ) I used to be crazy for the band KISS, and when I was five or six years old my brother Luis and I used to jump around on our beds with tennis rackets, instead of electric guitars, pretending to be playing.
In my family after my grand father (Luis Antonio Zerpa Zafrane ) I was the only person with an interest in arts. I studied Graphic Design (3 years) and at the same time I also studied to be an English teacher (5 Years) But going back to music.... I was 15 years old , I can still remember that day when I went for the first time to Alfredo Lairises house ( my neighbour ) after he has had a private guitar lesson, to try out his guitar. After this day I kept visiting him to play his acoustic Yamaha, while he played his Fender stratocaster, he taught me 4 cords ( G - D - E- C ) all that you actually need : )
I used to listen to the radio while I was sleeping, and I started understanding the power of music and songs and how melodies can make you feel happy or sad, and how songs are just someone’s story.
Therefore I decided that with those 4 cords and lots of stories to tell I wanted to start writing my own songs. At the beginning I did so in Spanish (my mother tongue) and then in English. I moved to London in 2003, why London? I wanted to study web design at the London College, and I also had this dream of being able to play my songs in England. In my opinion the English band PINK FLOYD, is one of the best bands in the music world and the Beatles , and the Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones and ….. In my opinion, this island (UK) has a really great Energy music wise. I had the honour to play at several open mikes in London, but it was in Scarborough, were I felt that my music earned sympathy and what is more important , a place in people’s hearts. So now, with 39 years, I am standing still, and I believe in my dreams, more than ever. Thank you for reading this = ) and I hope you enjoy the music. God Bless MUSIC God Bless MUSICIANS

Today, I am 39 years old, and the organisation viva con agua ( swiss headquarters ) asked me to write a song for this ONG.
(Viva con Agua, is a charity founded in 2005 in the Hamburg quarter of St. Pauli.
The aim of the organization is to improve drinking water supply in developing countriesin conjunction with the Welthungerhilfe ).
